Isle of Skye Hotel
The Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland is, most probably, the most widely known of all the Hebrides Isles. Much of this fame is derived from the romantic stories of Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora Macdonald and the Skye Boat Song but there is much, much more to this beautiful gem of an island.
As you can see from the photograph, to the left, of Portree harbour, the Isle of Skye is extremely popular with yachtsmen, fishermen and sailors. As well as the seas around Skye being great fun to sail upon the waters are also crystal clear which can really only be fully appreciated by indulging in a spot of diving. In fact the Isle of Skye is extremely popular with all types of sportsmen, women and children, especially mountaineers and hill walkers who enjoy the unique challenges found in the Black Cuillins.
